The €10 Cheltenham tips accumulator that could win you €250

Cheltenham tipsters have been agreeing on a number of horses on the preview circuit and an accumulator on all five could win you a handsome sum

Cheltenham has arrived once again with the Irish expected to dominate once again at Prestbury Park.

Cheltenham Preview nights and shows are hugely popular every year and I've been tuning in to a lot of them so you don't have to. While tipsters are arguing over certain runners and the races they might end up in, most of them are in agreement on five horses.

Four Irish runners and one for the English might be the key to unlocking a nice winning bet at this year's Cheltenham Festival. The accumulator will keep you interested all week if the selections keep winning, culminating on Friday with the Gold Cup.

We have three horses from Willie Mullins' yard, and one each from the yards of Gordon Elliott and Nicky Henderson, all three prolific Cheltenham winners. See the five horses below:

LOSSIEMOUTH - TUESDAY 4.10PM

This horse could easily have warranted an entry in the Champion Hurdle, also on Tuesday, but with Willie Mullins splitting his stars, the grey mare is entered here and will take all the beating. She's won six of her seven racecourse starts, and looked a real star on her latest outing, a nine-length victory over Love Envoi who was second to Honeysuckle in this race last year. Willie Mullins' assistant trainer David Casey put Lossiemouth up as his bet of the entire meeting.

EL FABIOLO - WEDNESDAY 3.30PM

Another exceptional talent from Willie Mullins' stable, El Fabiolo has dominated this sphere since winning last year's Arkle. He hasn't put a foot wrong in three wins since, including at last year's Punchestown Festival and at the recent Dublin Racing Festival. His main rival Jonbon hasn't looked quite as good this year despite four wins and was actually beaten at Cheltenham in January.

BRIGHTERDAYSAHEAD - THURSDAY 4.50PM

This is one of the hype horses from Gordon Elliott's yard this season. The Meath trainer has hinted that this horse might be the best he's ever had in training and he has had some good ones and won everything from the Grand National to the Gold Cup and everything in between. It's hard to go that big on a novice but she has taken the eye of many a good judge in her five runs and five wins to date. She has an average winning distance of almost nine lengths and had 12 to spare on her most recent victory at Navan. She's a star in the making but will have to beat another in the shape of Willie Mullins' Jade De Grugy who has on her two starts to date. Most tipsters are siding with the Elliott mare.

SIR GINO - FRIDAY 1.30PM

The only English-trained runner in our line-up for this accumulator, Sir Gino has been the standout juvenile hurdler this term. No single Irish raider has put their hand up as a star like last year's winner Lossiemouth so most are with Nicky Henderson's latest star. Sir Gino was absolutely sensational in his warm-up run for this when he beat the longtime-fancied Burdett Road by ten lengths by ten lengths. Kargese is interesting for Willie Mullins getting a mare's allowance in weight but we're hoping the Sir Gino hype is real.

GALOPIN DES CHAMPS - FRIDAY 3.30PM

It's not often you'd back a horse recently beaten twice by one of his re-opposing rivals but Galopin Des Champs was so good winning this last year, it's hard to pass him on the racecard. He's twice had his colours lowered by Fastorslow this term but was back to his best when landing the Irish Gold Cup in February, beating Fastorslow by more than four lengths. He was also just exceptional when landing the Savills Chase at Leopardstown at Christmas by 23 lengths. He won last year's Gold Cup by seven and while there is an interesting field lining up to take him on, I can't see any of them passing him up the hill.

An accumulator on these five horses pays out at around 25/1 so if you put €10 on and all five win, you'll collect €250 in winnings as well as your tenner stake back.
