There was a huge turnout in Leighlinbridge, Carlow for a huge homecoming for the successful parties following the Cheltenham festival.

Leading the homecoming was Willie Mullins along side Gold Cup winner Galopin Des Champs. Willie had an incredible successful Cheltenham Festival, becoming the first trainer in its history to have 100 winners at the festival.

Galopin Des Champs returned a legend as he managed to make it back-to-back Cheltenham Gold Cup victories last week.

Des Champs was followed by State Man and all the other winners from the Closutton stables who managed to get a win at the Cheltenham Festival.

A great show of appreciation and support from the Carlow people to the horse racing legends who had such a successful trip to Cheltenham.
