Investigation ongoing into the cost of repairs for damage to Rathmore Bridge after car fled scene

Tullow Municipal District has revealed that the red Volkswagen Golf which disappeared from the scene after crashing into the Rathmore Bridge earlier this month has not been identified. There is an investigation ongoing into the cost of the repairs. 

A barrier was installed as a safety measure to protect the public as plans are made to repair the bridge.
