Huge upset as Tom O'Neil fails to be reelected

Current Carlow mayor and sitting councillor Tom O'Neil has failed to be reelected to Carlow Council here at the Local Elections 2024.

The current Carlow Mayor has failed to be reelected on the 13th count of the Carlow LEA.

Carlow LEA after the 13th count:

Fintan Phelan - Elected

Andrea Dalton - Elected

Fergal Browne - Elected 

John Cassin - 968

Ken Murnane - 828

Adrienne Wallace - 731

Mark Callinan - 657

Tom O'Neil - Eliminated
