The search for missing woman Sheila Rice has been stood down following the discovery of a body in Carlow this morning.
Following the discovery of a woman's body earlier this morning in Carlow, the missing person appeal for Sheila Rice, 87 years, has been stood down.
Gardaí thanked the media and public for their assistance.
87-year-old Sheila Rice went missing and was last seen near Athy Road in Carlow, shortly before 4pm on Saturday, 11th February 2023.
