Sunscreen on! Met Éireann forecasts highest temperatures of 21 degrees today (May 13)

High temperatures are expected in Carlow and beyond today (May 13). 

That's according to Met Éireann, which forecasts temperatures of between 16 and 21 degrees in a light variable breeze with the chance of isolated showers this afternoon. 

Tonight will be dry with clear spells turning cloudier with rain spreading from the west overnight. 

Temperatures will not fall beneath 7 to 10 degrees in a light to moderate southwesterly breeze.
