CARLOW WEATHER: Expect some cloud with showery outbreaks of rain
WHIILE there will be some hazy sunny spells at times, the best of which will be in north Leinster on Friday morning, it will become cloudier across Carlow as the day progresses.
According to Met Éireann, Showery outbreaks of rain will gradually extend from the south during the day.
The showers will be heavy at times and isolated thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening.
Highest temperatures of 19 to 25 degrees, in moderate to occasionally fresh southeasterly winds.
Scattered thundery showers will continue on Friday night, mixed with clear spells. Some mist and fog patches will develop, especially along coasts in light to moderate south to southeast winds.
Mild with temperatures not falling below 12 to 16 degrees.
National Outlook
Marginally cooler over the weekend but still above average temperatures with further showers, and some thunderstorms. Surface water flooding will remain a risk.
The pollen forecast is high for Friday and Saturday while the Solar UV Index is moderate to high.
