A car park was recently constructed in Clogrennane Woods for visitors to the hiking trail, improving their safetly.

Previously visitors parked their cars along the road side, obstructing views of motorists and pedestrians at times.

Clogrennane Woods is located close to Carlow Town and consists of a gentle sloping four kilometre walk on forest roads with magnificent views of Carlow Town and the River Barrow.
