Gardaí are investigating two cases of criminal damage which occurred on the same day, Thursday 1st February 2024.
The first incident occurred at Hillview Drive, Rathnapish, Green Lane, Carlow between 1am and 9am. The front driver's side window of a car smashed however, nothing was stolen from the vehicle.
The second incident occurred at The Weirs, Poachers Gate, Carlow Town. A taxi which was parked outside the owners residence in The Weirs was broken into. CCTV captured two males approach the taxi and break the driver’s window.
They were seen riffling through the car however, nothing was taken.
Carlow Gardaí are investigating both cases of criminal damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact them on 059 9136620.
