Ann's funeral will take place in Carlow and Dublin
Ann Delaney, Dromagh, Crettyard, Laois / Crettyard, Carlow, died suddenly in St James Hospital, Dublin, on Sunday February 25.
The 47-year-old had been sleeping rough in Dublin city centre for about seven years.
Ann has been remembered as a kind soul by outreach workers and many members of the public who knew her.
Beloved daughter of Mary and the late Tom, Ann is sadly missed by her loving daughter Saoirse, mother Mary, brothers Thomas, John, Ciaran and Paul, sisters Siobhán, Tricia, Roisin and Emer, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Messages from people who knew Ann have been pouring in on RIP.ie, with mourners remembering her for being a kind, well-spoken and gentle soul.
One mourner said:
"I hope you're in a better place Ann, will miss our chats, you where a well spoken person and I'm heartbroken this has happened to you. Hopefully this will change our system of letting down our homeless people in this country...I hope that there is an Ann's law passed that people get the help that they need...you were a good person, an be missed.

Funeral Arrangements
Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow (R93 TC53) on Wednesday evening, February 28, from 4pm concluding with rosary at 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Thursday morning, February 29, at 12noon in St. Abban’s Church, Doonane (R93 AT86). Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
