Witnesses sought after intruders break into storage unit at Carlow train station

Gardai in Carlow town are investigating

Gardai have launched an investigation following a burglary incident at Carlow train station.

According to gardai, an empty storage unit was entered sometime between 6pm on Wednesday, March 13 and 11am the following day - Thursday, March 14.

"Entry was gained through the roof causing some damage," said a spokesperson who added that nothing appears to have been stolen from the property.

Gardai at Carlow garda station are appealing for witnesses or for anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage to contact them on 9136620.

Investigations are ongoing.
