JOBS ALERT: Carlow County Council hiring for multiple new positions with salary up to €82,000

Carlow County Council are now hiring for seven new positions which could be suitable for a lot of people with different skill sets.

The posts listed include, General Services Supervisor, Clerk of Works/Building Inspector, Community Development Officer (Specific Purpose Contract), Executive Engineer, Executive Technician, Economic Development Officer – Business Advisor, and Social Worker. 

All of the positions have a closing date of Friday, 8 August at 12pm. 

The role of General Services Supervisor requires no degree, however the job criteria does state that knowledge of civil engineering works such as road building, road surfacing and maintenance works would be beneficial. 

This position sees the pay range from €896.28 per week gross to €1.056.14.

To apply for the Clerk of Works/Building Inspector, you must hold a degree in Engineering or Architecture, or hold a National Certificate/National Diploma in Construction Studies or Civil Engineering issued by the National Council for Education Awards/Further Education Training Awards Council.

The pay scale for this role ranges from €56,754 to €69,337 per year.

The Community Development Officer also desires a third level qualification, this time in Community Development, a Social Science or a related discipline.

The salary scale for this position starts at €51,210 and goes up to €61,252.

The role of Executive Engineer requires an honours degree (level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications) in Engineering and at least five years relevant engineering experience.

The salary scale starts at €59,067 and goes up to €82,108.

You must have satisfactory experience in a previous technician post for the Executive Technician role. 

The salary scale for the Executive Technician ranges from €51,407 to €61,504.

For the Economic Development Officer – Business Advisor role, you must hold a professional qualification at degree level (level 7 NFQ) or above in Business/Entrepreneurship or equivalent and/or at least 2 years’ experience working in a project development role within the public service.

The salary scale starts at €56,754 and goes up to €69,337 per year.

To apply for the Social Worker position, candidates must hold the relevant certifications.

The salary scale for this position ranges from €54,662 to €71,641.
