Planning proposal lodged for new Primary Care Centre for healthcare services outside Carlow
Carlow County Council has received a planning application for a new Primary Care Centre in Tullow, County Carlow to accommodate HSE health and social care services, general practice services and more.
Westcourt Healthcare Ltd. submitted the application which proposes constructing the new building at Tullowbeg, Abbey Street in Tullow.
According to the application, the building will be part two-storey and part three-storey and "accommodate HSE health & social care services, general practice services, meeting rooms, administrative offices, staff facilities, reception, & ancillary uses."

The proposal also lists works such as external building signage, a new single storey services building, and associated services area.
A new access roadway and site entrance is also included in the plans, along with car and bicycle parking.
Carlow County Council is due to make their decision on 10 September 2025.
