Today's (December 22) weather will be mostly cloudy and damp this morning with patchy mist and fog.
That's according to Met Éireann, which also forecasts highest temperatures of between 6 to 9 degrees in light westerly or variable breezes.
Tonight will be largely dry with isolated showers and areas of fog developing, becoming dense in some spots, with cloudier weather overnight and rain pushing into munster.
Lowest temperatures of between -1 and +4 degrees with the chance of some frost patches in light to moderate easterly winds.
