A man missing for 10 days is believed to have driven to a wooded area in Co Laois.
Gardaí are renewing their appeal to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Gavin Rowan (40 years old), who is reported missing from the Athy area of Co Kildare since Monday July 7, 2023.
Gavin - described as being 6’ 0” and of a large build with brown hair and brown eyes - was traveling in a Black VW Passat CC car.
Gardaí understand he travelled in this vehicle to Derries Wood in Ballyshaneduff, Co.Laois.
They are now looking to speak to any road users who were in the Derries Wood area between July 7 and 12 and encourage anyone with video footage to come forward.
Anyone with footage or any other information on Gavin’s whereabouts is asked to contact Kildare Garda Station on 045 527730, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
