ALL-STAR Limerick hurler Diarmaid Byrnes has popped the question to his long-term girlfriend Elaine Kennedy.
The happy couple announced their good news over the weekend via Instagram with the words 'A whole lotta love' and a romantic photo where they are pictured looking extremely happy on Inchydoney beach in West Cork with their Labrador puppy, Sonny.
Over 300 people so far have offered their congratulations to the pair on their news.

TG4 presenter Louise Cantillon who is to marry Limerick hurling captain Declan Hannon next month commented under the post saying "Aaah!!! Gorgeous news. Comhghairdea libh x"
Influencer Sinead O'Brien, from the same parish as Byrnes, Patrickswell, said "Awh amazing guys xxx".
His Limerick teammate Kyle Hayes was among many others who congratulated the couple.
