A man has appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice today (October 23) due to an alleged offence under the Children's Act 2001.
According to the Irish Mirror, a man alerted Gardaí at 2am on Saturday morning (October 21) to report a baby girl was alone in a car parked somewhere in North Dublin.
The infant - who is reportedly 10 months old - was left alone for up to 10 hours.
A massive operation was launched to search for the baby, who was eventually found safe and well.
An Garda Síochána stated they are not in a position to provide any further comment.
