Crazily bad customer service. Ended up getting the air coach to Sandyford where I don’t live and a taxi from there.

Ryle, I wrote to DAA 3 times about it already this year, and nothing has changed. It is an embarrassment. Keep applying the pressure!

The social media uproar has prompted further discussions on the necessity for infrastructure improvements and better planning to tackle the recurring challenges at the Dublin Airport taxi stand.
As frustrations mounted, the DAA responded to the criticism. A spokesperson stated, "It is always unfortunate when taxi customers have to wait longer than normal anywhere in the country, but especially at Dublin Airport, due to high demand given the nationwide shortage of taxis at present."
The DAA asserted efforts to address the issue, stating: "We have increased the number of taxi permits at Dublin Airport this year by 20% and have seen a significant improvement in customer queue times at the Dublin Airport taxi ranks resulting in 90% of our customers waiting for less than 10 minutes for a taxi."
