Man, 30s, faces court after €3.1 million cocaine bust by Gardaí

Another man has been released from custody pending file to the DPP

Gardaí have charged a man who was arrested after searches in Dublin and Wicklow saw €3.1 million cocaine and €350,000 cash seized. 
The man, in his 30s, is due to appear before a special sitting of Bray District Court this Saturday morning at 9:15am.
The second man, also in his 30s, who was arrested has been released from custody pending file to the DPP.
Along with the drugs and money, Gardaí also seized eight cars, estimated to be worth more than €200,000, and over €280,000 frozen in bank accounts as evidence of money laundering and proceeds of crime. 
Other items seized included; cars, jewellery, designer watches, electronic devices, laptops and smartphones.

The 37-search opertation was led by the Serious Crime Investigation, Drugs and Specialist Support Units of the DMR South with assistance from the Dublin Crime Response Team, personnel from the Clondalkin, Blackrock, Dun Laoghaire, Bray and Wicklow Districts, the Garda Dog Unit, the Customs Canine Unit and the Armed Support Unit.
