Unlicensed driver pulled over by Gardaí found to have live bench warrant

Gardaí pulled the driver over along the M1

An Garda Síochána were on patrol along the M1 this morning, Tuesday February 20, when the driver of another car overtook them at speed.

Shockingly, when Gardaí pulled the motorist over, they found that he doesn't, nor did he ever, hold a driving licence.

Not only did the motorist fail a roadside drug test, he also had a live bench warrant.

In the post Gardaí said:

Dundalk Gardaí were on patrol along the M1 when the driver of this car overtook them at speed. After the driver was pulled, they discovered on their Mobility Device that he'd never held a licence. He failed a roadside drug test and also had a live bench warrant. #SaferRoads
