An allergen alert has been issued for a popular food product sold in shops across Ireland.
According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), the alert has been issued for the Bibigo Mini Mandu Prawn Dumplings (pack size 360g) due to the presence of egg.
Egg is not declared on the list of ingredients, and therefore may make the affected batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of egg.
The affected batch codes are VN945 IV 065 (Best Before 21/06/2024), VN945 IV 095 (Best Before 10/08/25), and VN945 IV 373 (Best Before 12/01/2025).
