Gardaí have caught an unlicensed driver operating a taxi service.
According to An Garda Síochána, the Commercial Vehicle Unit made the discovery while checking the certifications of taxi drivers with colleagues at the National Transport Authority.
Upon stopping the taxi, they discovered that the person driving was not registered as a taxi driver and wasn't registered to drive at all.
Court will follow.
