Tesco Ireland has recalled a batch of its own-brand sandwich pickle due to the possible presence of glass pieces.
In a public notice, issued this Wednesday afternoon, the Food Safety of Ireland advised customers not to consume the product if they have already bought a jar.
The recall notice apples to 295g jars of the product with a 3254 batch code and a best before date of September 11, 2025.
Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale in Tesco stores across the country.
"Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batch from sale and display recall notices at point-of-sale while consumers are advised not to eat the implicated batch," reads the notice.
Manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, caterers and retailers have all been advised of the recall notice.
