Busy Dublin city centre road closed as officials deal with building fire

Dublin city commuters have been warned as the busy Church Street Upper has been closed due to a building fire.

Emergency services are at the northside city centre scene to tackle the blaze, and the outbound road is closed between North King Street and Brunswick Street North.

Dublin Fire Brigade have not yet confirmed the source of the fire.

The street is a busy one for footfall, hosting the popular Bonobo bar and a Boylesports.

Traffic has been busier around the area as a result, and motorists have been advised to take alternative routes.
