ALERT: Met Éireann issues immediate yellow thunderstorm warning for 12 counties
Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow thunderstorm warning for 12 counties in Ireland across Leinster, with possible localised flooding and difficult driving conditions as a result.
The national forecaster issued the immediate alert at lunchtime on Sunday and it is valid until 8pm.
They warned of a "moderate chance" of isolated thunderstorms across Leinster counties with possible impacts including localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult driving conditions.
