ALERT: Aldi recalls popular crisps due to possible presence of rubber pieces

Batches of crisps sold in Aldi have been recalled from stores due to the possible presence of rubber pieces.

According to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI), bathes of Spuddy's Irish Crisps are being removed from stores due to the possible presence of the foreign objects.

The affected products include Spuddy's Cheese and Onion Flavour Irish Crisps (6x 25g pack), Spuddy's Irish Potato Crisps assorted flavours (24 x 25g pack) with Best Before dates of 26/7/24.

Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batches from sale and display a recall notice at point-of-sale.
