Gardaí have issued an update on the wellbeing of a missing girl (15) after standing down their search this weekend.
They said: "Caoimhe Prendergast, who had been missing since Sunday, 7th July has been located safe and well".
The youngster had been missing from Athy, Co. Kildare, since the early hours of Sunday morning. The appeal for help from the public to find her was stood down on Wednesday.

"We would like to thank the public and media for their assistance," gardaí said.
