Viewers of this week's Late Late Show were awestruck by Irish actor Colin Farrell and Emma Fogarty as the pair spoke to Late Late host Patrick Kielty about taking on the 42km Dublin Marathon later this month.
Emma Fogarty is the oldest person living with the most severe version of Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) and is one of just three people with the condition to live to the age of forty.
Collin Farrell will run the marathon with Emma by his side in a wheelchair for the last 4km of the marathon.

Viewers took to Twitter/X to share messages of support and admiration for the pair with one site user quote tweeting: "Collin Farrell is a good lad" and another posting: "Emma is an absolute inspiration what an incredible human being."
Other Twitter/X users shared in the actor's calling out of the Irish Government for not allocating funding to those in need of essential treatment for EB with one commentor on a clip posted by the Late Late Show's account saying: "This government should be ashamed of themselves for plenty of money for bike sheds security huts modular homes in Ukraine and muldova, well done collin beautiful lady the hell she goes through everyday. HSE wake up"

The Penguin actor slammed the Irish government for being "inhumane" and described the funding being asked for by EB advocates as "a drop in the ocean" in comparison to what other sectors had received from Budget 2025.
