A teenager has died in a road incident involving a tractor in Co Galway on Saturday.
At around 3.30pm on Saturday, Gardaí and emergency services rushed to the scene on a local road in Rinn near Oranmore.
A 19-year-old male passenger was rushed to hospital by ambulance but sadly passed away.
No other injuries were reported.
The road was closed for a technical examination but has since reopened.
A Family Liaison Officer (FLO) has been appointed to support the family of the teen and gardai have confirmed that “investigations are ongoing”.
