The late Marguerita Sheridan will be laid to rest this weekend
The mother-of-one who died following a hit-and-run incident in Rathkeale is to be laid to rest this weekend.
Marguerita Sheridan, 21, of Rathkeale in County Limerick, died after an incident involving a vehicle at Bank Place in the town shortly after midday last Saturday.
The young mum, who had only given birth three weeks previously, passed away in University Hospital Limerick later that day.
A man is currently before the courts in relation to the incident.
On Christmas Day, a photo was shared online of her husband holding a photo of his late wife in one hand and his little baby boy dressed in a little elf’s outfit in his other arm. He was surrounded by toys including trucks, tractors, police cars and miniature cars, all in opened boxes.
Marguerita Sheridan’s remains will repose at Cross’ Funeral Home in Limerick city, from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday.
Her funeral Mass will take place at St Mary’s Church, Rathkeale, at 12:30pm, on Sunday, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
May she rest in peace.
