Gardai have launched an investigation after a man died in a single vehicle incident in County Limerick on Tuesday night.
A garda spokesperson said emergency services were alerted and attended the scene of a fatal road traffic incident that occurred on Lower Main Street, Rathkeale at approximately 10pm.
"A man, aged in his 60s, was removed from the scene to University Hospital Limerick where he was pronounced deceased. A post mortem examination will take place in due course," said the garda spokesperson.

The scene was cordoned off for technical examination and gardai say no other injuries to any other persons were reported.
"The investigation is ongoing," said a garda spokesperson.
Anybody who may have witnessed the incident, or have dash-cam footage, is asked to contact the investigating gardai in Rathkeale on 069 63222.
