Over €1 million worth of drugs and cash seized during major search of home
Gardaí seized over €1 million worth of cash and drugs during a major search of a residential property in Dublin on Tuesday, 18 February.
Community Gardaí and the Drugs Unit based at Tallaght Garda Station discovered a substantial quantity of controlled drugs, including cocaine, ketamine and cannabis, with a combined estimated street value of approximately €950,000 at the residence in the Old Bawn area of Tallaght.

In addition to this, gardaí found over €231,000 in cash which brought the total seizure to over €1 million.
Gardaí said that two people, a man and a woman, both aged in their late 20s were arrested and detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Dublin.
Investigations are ongoing.
