Gardai investigating the discovery of a man’s body in Co Donegal have arrested a man.
The man, aged in his 60s, was arrested on Monday morning and is being detained at a Garda station in Co Donegal.
At around 12.20pm on Sunday, gardai and emergency services responded to a report of man found unresponsive at a residence in Harbour View Drive in Killybegs.
The man, aged in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
The local coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination by the state pathologist will be conducted.
Gardai said the results of the post-mortem examination would determine the course of the investigation.
They have appealed for witnesses and those with information to come forward.
