Republic of Ireland and Brentford shot-stopper Caoimhín Kelleher was spotted at Saturday's epic Munster Senior hurling Championship Final between Limerick and Cork.

The Rockmount native was soaking in his county's first provincial success since 2018 after Cork dethroned reigning Munster champions Limerick at the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Saturday evening.

As thousands of fans flooded out onto the Ennis Road in the aftermath of Saturday's dramatic penalty shoot-out, eagle-eyed Liverpool fan Seán Harty, from Garryspillane in County Limerick, spotted the now former Liverpool FC goalkeeper.

"He's a massive Liverpool and Limerick supporter so meeting Caoimhín cheered him up a bit after the Munster Final result," he told the Limerick Leader / Limerick Live.
