A man has died in a house fire in Co Roscommon on Wednesday.
Gardai were made aware of the fire at 7.15pm, which broke out at a home in an estate in Frenchpark.
The fire has been extinguished by fire services and the body removed from the house.
His remains have been taken from the scene to University Hospital Galway for a post-mortem examination.
The scene was preserved pending a technical examination and enquiries are ongoing.
