Rogue motorist gifted 'all inclusive package' as Gardaí uncover five offences in one stop

To add to the motorist’s spate of alleged offences, the car in question was found to have no tax, no insurance and no NCT

A motorist was gifted an “all inclusive package” along with a “free lift to the station” by Gardaí in Cork when he was charged with five different offences at a Garda stop. 

The driver tested positive for drugs - and was also found in possession of drugs by the Gardaí. 

To add to the motorist’s spate of alleged offences, the car in question was found to have no tax, no insurance and no NCT (national car test). 

Cork Garda Síochána wrote on social media that the driver received: “The All-Inclusive Package”, which “included a free lift to the station and a day out in court courtesy of Cork City Roads Policing!”

A social media user commented on Facebook, that the “Driver was very brave in a lot of ways. Key one … being willing to chance the muling in a Mazda 6. Real hero to risk that alone.”

A fellow netizen wrote that they hope the motorist receives “a free bed and breakfast”. 

A third Facebook commenter wrote: “The lights are on but no one’s home”
