Gardai say investigations are underway after a fire broke out at the house in Edenderry overnight
Investigations are underway following the discovery of a body at the same house in County Offaly where a young boy and his grand-aunt were murdered last year.
An Garda Síochána is currently investigating all the circumstances of a house fire that has occurred at a domestic residence in Castleview Park, Edenderry, Co. Offaly.

Gardaí say they and other emergency services attended at the scene of a house fire at Castleview Park, Edenderry in the early hours of this Tuesday morning.
"The body of an adult person has been discovered inside the premises. A post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death, which will determine the course of any garda investigation," said a spokesperson.
The scene is currently preserved for forensic examination, the results of which will also assist in determining the course of any garda investigation.

Gardaí in Tullamore are appealing for any person with any information on this house fire to contact An Garda Síochána.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Tullamore Garda Station on 057 932 7600, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
The property is the same house where a young boy and his grand-aunt died last December after it was fire-bombed.
Four-year-old Tadhg Farrell and his grandaunt Mary Holt (60) were in a downstairs room at the house at the time..
It’s understood at least one family member had remained living in the property despite the fire in December which had caused extensive damage.
