A cyclist has died after a crash involving a truck in Dublin city centre on Wednesday afternoon, Gardai said.
They said emergency services were called to the junction of Middle Abbey Street and O’Connell Street just before 1pm.
The cyclist, a man in his 20s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Forensic investigations were later ongoing at the scene and traffic diversions were in place.
There was disruption to Luas services in the city throughout the afternoon and the red line is currently suspended between The Point and Smithfield.
The coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
Investigators have appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
