An allergen alert has been issued for a popular vegan food containing undeclared ingredients.
According to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI), Dunnes Stores' Vegan Plant Based Roast (pack size 530g, Use By December 15) contains wheat (cereals containing gluten), soya and suphites which are not declared on the list of ingredients.
This may make the batch unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of wheat, soya and/or sulphites.
