Popular retail outlets in Ireland recall shoes due to risk from exposed nails

Popular retail outlets have recalled heeled boots sold at their stores because of a manufacturing fault with the products.

According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), TK Maxx and Homesense issued the recall due to the possible presence of exposed nails in some Dune 'Head and Heels' boots.

The affected products are black heeled boots marked with 'Dune' and 'Head & Heels' on the sole and insert respectively, in knee-height and ankle-height varieties.

Product codes which will be shown on the price sticker and receipt include 328003, 328047, 328050, 328070, 328100, 817084.

The affected products were available for purchase in October 2022.

Customers should stop using the shoes immediately and return them to any TK Maxx or Homesense store for a full refund.

If customers have any further queries in relation to this recall, please email TK Maxx at customerservice@tjxeurope.com or call on 01 2476126.
