Follow all the action as Justin McNulty's Laois side look to get off to perfect start in the Tailteann Cup as Carlow cross the border to take on Laois in Laois Hire O'Moore Park Portlaoise this afternoon.
Laois have a home game to start due them being second seeds following their Division 4 triumph back in March in Croke Park. Fermanagh and Wicklow make up the rest of Group 3 with Fermanagh putting in a dominant display on Saturday to record a 3-16 to 0-9 victory in Brewster Park.
Carlow and Laois have already clashed in 2024 with Carlow having got off to a flying start in the league and led five points to no score after 25 minutes. McNulty’s side got to grips with the game in the second-half with goals from Portlaoise duo Damon Larkin and Kevin Swayne giving Laois a 2-14 to 0-9 victory in February. Laois also got the better of Carlow in 2023 as Paul Kingston fired in 1-10 as Laois won 1-17 to 2-8 in Netwatch Cullen Park.
