Permission granted for placement of a 'pay to use portable waste compactor' in Carlow

A company has been granted conditional planning permission for the placement of "a pay to use portable waste compactor for the acceptance of residual and food waste and a pay to use portable compactor for mixed recyclables".

This activity requires the developers to possess a waste collection permit/certificate of registration.

The applicant - Environmental Compaction Systems Ltd - made the application to develop the compactor at Keenan's T/A Big Services, Pollerton Big, Carlow.

There are seven conditions attached to the decision by Carlow County Council.
