A happy ending to this story
A Carlow family dog has returned home herself after she went missing over the weekend.
The lovely Janey, pictured above, had gone missing in the Nurney area of Carlow on Saturday morning and is a "very dear pet" of the local family.
The owner heard a "slight scratch at the door" on Monday morning and when she went to investigate the local woman was relieved to find Janey had returned home herself.
