PICTURE: Council praised over works at Meadowbanks with section of footpaths cleared

Carlow County Council have been praised over works done at Meadowbanks with a section of footpaths cleared.

Cllr Fergal Browne said: "Thanks to Barry O'Neill and crew for works done at Meadowbanks clearing a section of footpaths on the way into the estate (Killyshane).

"This was funded by Carlow County Council out of an allocation given to me as a county councillor for such works to be carried out.

"Will hopefully be able to secure additional funding to complete the missing section of footpath (100m) towards Palatine village."
