In Pictures: New Boots store opens in Carlow creating seventeen new jobs

Boots pharmacy has officially opened a new store in Carlow Town, creating seventeen new jobs in the area. 

The store has also created three additional seasonal jobs for the Christmas period.

The store is located at Fairgreen Shopping Centre, in the old Argos premises which shut down earlier this year.

Boots Carlow is open for business from 10am today, Wednesday 13th December.

The new Carlow store will operate with the following opening hours:

Monday                     9.00am – 6pm
Tuesday                     9.00am – 6pm
Wednesday               9.00am – 6pm
Thursday                   9.00am – 8pm
Friday                         9.00am – 8pm
Saturday                    9.00am – 6pm
Sunday                      12.00pm – 6pm

Commenting on the opening of the new store, Stephen Watkins, Managing Director of Boots Ireland said, “Today is a significant day for Boots.
