From An Garda Síochána on Facebook:

"Carlow Community Engagement Team completed their second Transition Year Work Experience Programme this academic year. TY students from Carlow town schools attended. Over the few days the students had a great time visiting the Midlands Prison and the Garda College. The students heard from different members of Carlow Gardai regarding all the different units and the great variety An Garda Siochana has to offer.

The students also received a tour of Carlow Fire station and got a great insight into the Fire service as a career from our local Firemen

Well done to Aoife Cafolla from Tyndell College, Carlow on winning our Perpetual Cup

All course participants received their Certificate of Achievement from Superintendent Farrell."
