Planning permission sought for the construction of new hotel in Carlow

Plans for a new hotel located on Main Street / Mill Street, Hacketstown in County Carlow have been submitted to the local authority. 

Permission is being sought to demolish portion of a commercial retail store to the rear of existing retail unit.

Full planning permission is sought for the change of use of the entire retail site area for use as a hotel.

Full planning permission is sought to construct a two-storey extension to the rear of existing original building including the renovation of same for a 17 bedroom hotel, associated signage, associated facilities including, kitchen, dining area, lounge / bar area, toilets, laundry facilities, associated car-parking all ancillary site works and services.

The application was submitted by Edmondbay Developments Ltd.

The application was submitted on 18th August and no decision has been made yet.
