Get out and vote

Polling stations in Kilkenny and Carlow will open on Friday morning at 7am and close at 10pm for the Presidential Election and the Blasphemy Referendum.

You will not need your polling card but you may need proof of identity.

Counting of votes in both will begin at 9am on Saturday morning at Cillín Hill and it is free to the public.

Because the voting is done on a Dáil constituency basis, Cillín Hill will count the votes from Carlow as well as Kilkenny.
