Only infrastructure provided for CCTV in new Skate Park

Infrastructure is to be provided for CCTV in the new Skate Board Park in Carlow Town but no CCTV.

At the June meeting Cllr William Paton asked if CCTV was included in the new Skate Board Park tender in Carlow Town.

Mayor Ken Murnane asked Director of Services, Eamonn Brophy, if this was the case and he was to revert back to members on the matter.

At the July meeting, Director of Services, Michael Brennan, confirmed that the “infrastructure is provided for the provision of CCTV, not CCTV”.
