RIP: Tributes paid to Carlow woman who was 'always in good humour' following her passing

Alice Fagan (née Brennan) - Myshall, Carlow - Saturday 10th May 2025

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Alice Fagan (née Brennan) of Ullard More, Myshall, Carlow.

Alice passed away on Saturday the 10th of May 2025.

Beloved wife of Jimmy. Loving mother of Avril and Derek. Sister of Margaret, Martina, Tom, Aidan, Mick, Liam, John, Pat and Jim. Sadly missed by Derek's partner Jenny, son-in-law Brian, grandson Jack, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Heartfelt sympathies and condolences to all Alice's family on her untimely death. Alice, a beautiful woman, helpful, always in good humour and willing to go beyond the expected to assist the customer. May God reward her with eternal love in heaven."

Another reads:

"Deepest condolences to the Fagan and Brennan families. Alice was like family. She fed and minded everyone. The cornerstone of Roberts' of Myshall for the last 18 years. Never stopped working. Always in good humor. Always smiling. Always had the craic. She will be missed terribly. Decent, honest, reliable, caring, trustworthy. She worked hard all her life. A lady, she deserves her eternal rest more than anyone. May she Rest In Peace."

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Lennon's Funeral Home, Bunclody on Tuesday 13th May from 2pm with removal at 7pm to arrive at Church of The Holy Cross, Myshall at 7.30pm for reception prayers. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am. Burial afterwards in Ballon cemetery.
